Updated 12/1/12 by SusanKindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Fire
Amazon is pleased to announce four new Kindles, including the Kindle Fire, Full Color 7″ Multi-touch Display, Wi-Fi. The price is very competitive and scheduled to be released in time for the holidays. I have waited for this for years and I want one! Preorders for the Kindle Fire are building up, and it’s first come first served, so order your Kindle Fire now!

The just released new Kindle, Wi-Fi only (pictured above left) is similar to the 3rd Generation Kindle with keyboard. This new one doesn’t have a standard keypad. It is an on screen keyboard that you navigate with the 5-way controller. The new Kindle is smaller, lighter and faster, but it has the same 6″ screen and the same Pearl E-ink technology. It is smaller and measures 6.5″ x 4.5″ x 0.34″. It only weighs 5.98 ounces. The storage capacity is less but it’s still holds 2G or 1400 books. That’s plenty of storage for most of us. The battery is smaller and lighter, and will only last about a month. There is no audio. Amazon offers this with Special Offers or without. It is great for the budget-minded who just want a nice reader.

In addition to the new Kindle, Amazon has three more Kindles scheduled to be released on November 21, 2011. The 6″ Kindle Touch 3G with Wi-Fi and Audio, The 6″ Kindle Touch Wi-Fi and Audio (pictured above center), and pictured above right, the Kindle Fire in Full Color! This is the Kindle for apps, books, games, magazines, movies, music, TV shows, and web browsing* with all of the content, free storage in the Amazon Cloud, Whispersync, Amazon’s new revolutionary cloud-accelerated web browser, vibrant color touch screen, and powerful dual-core processor.

* Kindle Fire has a radical new web browser called Amazon Silk. When you use Silk – without thinking about it or doing anything explicit – you’re calling on the raw computational horsepower of Amazon EC2 to accelerate your web browsing.

I created this blog just so I could write about anything and everything that comes to mind, whatever I feel like saying, whenever I feel like posting. This is not a Christian-only site or a political board filled with propaganda and rhetoric. I want my blog to be fun and interesting, offering people helpful tips and information, as well as thoughtful and entertaining content. Thanks for visiting!
