I really, really do love my Kindle.

After using my Kindle, I would never go back to reading real books. Well, except for cookbooks, textbooks, books with charts, photographs, or illustrations, that is. The Kindle Fire, on the other hand, would be great for these.

It’s lightweight and fits in my purse. No more dog-eared pages. I love how it goes right to where I left off, even if I exit from the book to read another, it always goes back to the last page read in whatever book you choose from the list. It’s so easy to highlight sections and bookmark pages. I also love how you can enlarge the font. My aging eyes are tired of reading the fine print in paperbacks. With Wireless off, the battery lasts for weeks. I usually order my Kindle editions on my laptop using 1-Click ordering, but you can easily shop the Kindle Store with your Kindle and buy books on the go. They end up on my Kindle in seconds.

About once a week, I find myself perusing the Kindle Store. I’m always looking for free or cheap eBooks. I’ve paid full price for a few eBooks, but I assure you, there are plenty of cheap or free e-Books to choose from.

I had previously listed many of the Kindle books I’ve downloaded and read recently. I’ve moved them to the Books That I’ve Read Category

The following were either free or less than $2.99 at the time of download. Not read, yet, or in the process of reading:

Chasing Eden (Eden Thrillers) by B.K. Sherer and Sharon Linnea
Dandy Detects: A Victorian San Francisco Story by M. Louisa Locke
L.A. Noire: The Collected Stories by Rockstar Games

Free Kindle eBooks:

I had wanted a Kindle for several years. I started out with Kindle for PC and downloaded a bunch of free eBooks. There are literally hundreds (maybe thousands) of free Kindle eBooks on Amazon. I particularly love Jane Austin, so my first picks were Emma, Lady Susan, Love and Friendship, Mansfield Park, Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility.

When I finally got my Kindle, all of the Kindle for PC books that I had downloaded were listed to download to my Kindle.

There are so many more free Kindle eBooks that I have downloaded, from the Holy Bible to several reference books, including a dictionary.

The quickest way to search for free or cheap eBooks is to visit Amazon’s Kindle Store or visit Amazon’s Top Bestselling 100 Paid and Free Kindle Editions. Then, bookmark the page so that you can check them often. Free eBooks are being added all the time.

Also, check out Movers & Shakers in the Kindle Store. The biggest gainers in Kindle Store sales rank over the past 24 hours.

You can find Kindle Limited Time Offers – Here. Grab ’em quick because they could jump to up to $9.99 or more.

Bookmark this page and check out the MONTHLY 100 Kindle Books for $3.99 or Less–a diverse offering of deals hand-selected by Amazon’s editors each month. These deals expire at the end of each month.

Free Kindle Games:

Every Word -My favorite, so far, but it’s very addicting!
    Dots and Boxes
    Video Poker
    Number Slide
    Blackjack

I created this blog just so I could write about anything and everything that comes to mind, whatever I feel like saying, whenever I feel like posting. This is not a Christian-only site or a political board filled with propaganda and rhetoric. I want my blog to be fun and interesting, offering people helpful tips and information, as well as thoughtful and entertaining content. Thanks for visiting!
